Anchor in the Midst

Hebrews 6:19

We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.

1 Peter 5:7

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

By the middle of the week, the pace can feel steady but the pressures start to build. Responsibilities stack up, emotions can run high, and unexpected challenges often show up right when you thought you were getting into rhythm.

But here is the steady truth: you have an anchor for your soul. Jesus is not shaken by the winds that toss your week around. He invites you to cast every care on Him because He genuinely cares for you. You don’t have to hold everything together by yourself.

Today, choose to stay anchored in Him. When the current feels strong, fix your eyes on the One who holds you firm. His peace is available right in the middle of it all.

1

Take one specific worry or burden and intentionally hand it over to the Lord in prayer.

2

Pause at some point today and remind your heart, “He cares for me.”

3

Be someone else’s calm today — offer a listening ear or a word of encouragement.

Lord, thank You for being my anchor in the middle of a busy week. I cast every care and worry on You because I know You care for me. Keep my heart steady and at peace no matter what comes. I trust You to hold me firm. Amen.
