Boldness in the Darkness
Faith Compass
You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.
The wicked flee though no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion.
Morning Light
The world is dim in more ways than one. Fear talks loud. People hide. Many walk wounded and wonder if anyone sees them. Jesus did not tell you to blend in. He said you are the light of the world. Not because you are impressive. Because He lives in you. Light does not argue with darkness. It shows up. It shines.
A city on a hill does not apologize for being seen. Boldness is not being loud. Boldness is being available. It is walking into the day without shrinking back. It is being a friend when it would be easier to stay busy. It is letting your life point to Jesus in ordinary places — a kind word, an open door, a willing heart.
You were not saved to hide. You were set free to shine. In a dark world, be the light. Be a friend. Be available. Walk like someone who belongs to the Light.
Walk It Out
Ask the Lord for boldness before you step into the day.
Look for one person who needs a friend and make yourself available.
Do one thing in the open that points to Jesus without shame.
Quiet Place
Lord, You are the Light of the world, and You have called me to shine. Give me holy boldness. Make me a friend. Make me available. Let my life be light in dark places. I am Yours. Amen.
