Free to Serve
Faith Compass
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.
You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.
Morning Light
Jesus did not set you free so you could live for yourself. He set you free so you could live like Him. The world thinks freedom means no one gets to tell you what to do. Scripture tells a better story. Christ broke the chains — and then He placed love in your hands. The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life for many. The freest Person who ever lived washed feet. You are not a slave to the old life anymore. You belong to Christ. And belonging to Him means your hands are open, your heart is willing, and your life is available. Serving does not cancel your freedom. Serving is what freedom looks like when love gets to lead. Today you get to walk as someone who is free — and someone who uses that freedom to lift others up.
Walk It Out
Thank Jesus that He has set you free.
Look for one humble way to serve someone without being asked.
the King became a servant for you.
Quiet Place
Lord, thank You for the freedom You purchased on the cross. Teach me to use that freedom to love and serve. Make my heart willing. Use my hands. I am Yours. Amen.
