Jesus, the Open Door
Faith Compass
Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.
The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.
Morning Light
Hey friends, let’s kick off the morning—ever felt stuck behind a wall, like no one can reach you? I’ve had those days, sitting quiet, wishing for a way out of the noise. That’s a spot a lot of us know, boxed in by life’s chaos.
But Jesus shows up as our Open Door. Revelation 3:20 paints Him knocking, ready to sit with us if we let Him in—proof of His heart given on the cross. Psalm 145:18 says He’s close to anyone who reaches out honestly. If you’re thinking you’re too hidden or He wouldn’t care, stop—He’s right there waiting. He didn’t lock us out; He broke through for us. When we admit where we’ve gone wrong, He welcomes us with open arms (1 John 1:9 NIV).
Push past the doubt, step toward His invite, and feel a new start bloom. That quiet pull when you talk to Him? That’s Jesus opening the way. Rise, friends—walk through His door!
When did His presence meet you? Who needs this chance today?
Walk It Out
Rise with Jesus, the Open Door, with these three ways to soar:
Think of a time you felt alone—write how Revelation 3:20 draws you near, letting His offer sink in.
Name something blocking your heart—ask, “How does Jesus’ nearness (Psalm 145:18) clear the way?” and take one step to connect.
Help a friend feeling trapped, sharing how He renews us (1 John 1:9), showing them His door.
Quiet Place
Jesus, my Open Door, thank You for coming to me. Clear my wrongs, guide me through, and help me bring others to You. “You are my way” (John 14:6 NLT). Amen.
