Morning Light
Ever notice the tree by the creek? Same summer, same heat, same dry spell, and it’s still green. It isn’t trying harder than the other trees. It just knows where the water is. That’s you when you stay close to Jesus. The week can run hot and the to-do list can run long, but your roots don’t have to dry up. You don’t have to manufacture strength. Just stay near the stream. Pull up a chair with Him today and drink.
Walk It Out
Before you check your phone, read one verse. Let Him be your first sip of the day.
Somebody near you is running dry. Give them a kind word or a cup of coffee.
Quiet Place
Lord, keep me close to You. When the days get dry, be my water. Grow my roots deep and keep my heart green. “Whoever believes in me… rivers of living water will flow from within them.” John 7:38
