The Secret Place
Faith Compass
Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
Morning Light
Before the noise starts, there is a place only God and you share. The secret place is not a building. It is the quiet turning of your heart toward the Father. Psalm 91 says those who dwell there rest in His shadow. Not visit. Dwell. Stay close enough that His covering becomes home. Jesus said to close the door and pray to the Father who is unseen. The God who sees you in the wilderness also sees you in the hidden room. He is not impressed by a crowd. He is moved by a child who comes near when no one else is watching. Start this week there. Not with a performance. With presence. Let the first voice you answer be His.
Walk It Out
Give the Lord the first quiet minutes before the phone.
Pray one honest sentence He already knows is true.
Carry that secret-place peace into the first hard moment of the day.
Quiet Place
Lord, I come into the secret place with You. Not to impress You. To be with You. Hide me in the shadow of the Almighty. Teach me to dwell, not just to visit. You see what is done in secret. You see my heart. I bring You this week — the known and the unknown, the strong places and the weak ones. Speak. Cover me. Lead me. I rest in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
