Walk in the Light

Psalm 119:105

Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.

1 John 1:7

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.

You do not need the whole map today. You need the next step lit. God’s Word is not a spotlight on the entire plan He has for you, waiting to be unveiled all at once.

It is a lamp for your feet. Enough light for the path in front of you. Walking in the light means bringing your life into the open before Him — not hiding, not pretending, not dragging yesterday’s problems into a new day. Jesus is already in the light. When you walk with Him there, fellowship is restored, and His blood keeps cleansing what you cannot clean yourself. Start this stretch of days with the lamp in hand. Open the Word. Walk the step you can see. Leave the rest with the One who is Light.

1

Read one short passage and ask, “Lord, what is the next step?”

2

Bring one hidden worry into the light with Him in prayer.

3

Choose honesty over hiding in one conversation today.

Lord, thank You that Your Word lights my path. I choose to walk in the light with You. Purify my heart. Show me the next step and give me courage to take it. Amen.
