Walking with the Shepherd

Psalm 23:1-3

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul.

John 10:27

My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.

There is a quiet confidence that comes from knowing you are being led. Not driven. Not pushed. Led. Jesus is the Good Shepherd. He knows exactly where the green pastures are. He knows when your soul needs quiet waters. He knows the pace that is right for you today. You don’t have to figure out the whole path — you only have to stay close enough to hear His voice and follow. Some days the path feels gentle. Other days it winds through harder places. Either way, the Shepherd never leaves your side. He refreshes. He protects. He provides. And because He is leading, you can walk without fear.

Today, slow down enough to notice Him. Listen for His voice. Let Him set the pace. You are not alone on this road.

1

Begin the day by simply saying, “Shepherd, I am listening.”

2

Notice one way He is providing or leading you today.

3

When decisions feel heavy, pause and ask Him to show the next step.

Lord, You are my Shepherd. I lack nothing because I have You. Lead me beside quiet waters. Refresh my soul. Help me hear Your voice and follow closely today. I trust Your leading. Amen.
